Skylar Smith Joins American Hat Company
American Hat Company welcomes New Public Relations and Digital Media Manager, Skylar Smith
Bowie, TX – American Hat Company, a leading manufacturer of high-quality cowboy hats, is pleased to announce the appointment of Skylar Smith as the new Public Relations and Digital Media Manager. In her new role, Skylar will be responsible for overseeing the company’s social media strategy, ambassador and endorsee relations, sponsorship and partnership relations, developing engaging marketing assets, and managing American Hat Company’s social media presence.
Skylar joins American Hat Company from Hooey Brands, where she worked the last year as a marketing associate. Overseeing everything from social strategy and athlete relations to on site event marketing and everything in between. Prior to her time at Hooey, Skylar has freelanced for some very notable brands in the industry, including weatherford’s premiere equine facility Bosque Ranch. Having interned for American Hat Company back in 2022 and obtaining a deep understanding and passion for the western lifestyle, this makes her an excellent fit for American Hat Company.

In her new role, Skylar will be working closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop marketing strategies that drive engagement and increase brand awareness. Responsible for creating and implementing social media campaigns that showcase American Hat Company’s brand and products. As well as working closely with American Hat’s ambassador and endorsee programs.
