COVID-19 Update
American Hat Company will be following the mandate announced by Texas Governor Greg Abbott on March 31, 2020.
Good afternoon to all of our loyal customers.
We are announcing today that American Hat Company will be following the mandate announced by Texas Governor Greg Abbott on March 31, 2020.
This mandate requires all nonessential businesses to close by midnight Thursday, April 2, 2020. In order to provide safety for our employees, we are closing the factory at 4:00 PM Thursday. We will be closed for the designated 30 days and scheduled to reopen Monday, May 4, 2020.
Not only is it an unstable time for many people due to the virus, but also the uncertainty of their finances. We will continue to pay our employees their normal full wages until business resumes. They are our most valuable asset. The pride they take in their craft is irreplaceable.

We pray you all abide by the recommendations of our health officials in order to keep you and your loved ones safe. Social distancing seems to be the quickest and best exercise we can do to help the ones that are most vulnerable.
