People came to the Fort Worth Cowtown Coliseum from all over the country to pay tribute to Keith Maddox, The Hat King.

Fort Worth’s Historic Cowtown Coliseum was packed full on October 4th, 2019 to celebrate the life of Keith Maddox, The Hat King. Western industry legends came from far and wide to pay tribute to a man that changed the western and rodeo world.
The celebration included remarks from Pastor Dave Ramsey; brother, Dave Maddox; American Hat Company President, Keith Mundee; longtime friend, Bryan Beaver; and music performances by Red Stegall and Red Shahan.
In lieu of flowers, a scholarship has been set up through the National High School Rodeo Association in memory of Keith Maddox.
